Who We Are
Our story so far
mySMEleader was founded by father and son team, Ben & Joshua Pike who began asking SME business leaders, “what are you doing to develop your successors and future business leaders?”
After countless conversations, a pattern became increasingly obvious; developing future leaders of SME businesses was hard! MBA’s that worked for corporates lacked relevance for most SME businesses, and leadership training was too generic.
Ben had spent his career scaling education businesses, and Josh had built global online education programmes. Their combined mission became clear: to make it easy for SMEs to develop their future business leaders,
They set to work with SME business leaders to shape a new approach to learning, one designed ONLY for future SME business leaders. They created a programme that serves SME directly, by distilling key topics down to what matters and keeping everything highly practical. Through exposure to a broad range of subjects the programme goal is to develop awareness and build the confidence of learners to take on bigger responsibilities before they are thrown in at the deep end.
Today, mySMEleader is led by Shyju Skariah and an exceptional support team. Shyju brings extensive knowledge and programme management experience across manufacturing and service sectors. Our mission is to connect SME leaders from diverse industries, each sharing their real-world insights to support others’ growth. We create meaningful conversations, bring the right people together, and ensure everything works in a way that reflects the realities of SME life.
